About the study
An organization’s ability to function and compete depends on the performance level of its human resources. The new challenges of the work environment of the public sector of today require new technologies, talent and capacity in the public sector’s Human Resources (HR) department. While Human Resources Management Practices (HRMP) have different dimensions and varying importance, they must all be implemented with the ultimate objective of improving the performance of the employees and the organization. In Mozambique, the implementation of HRMPs in the public sector hasn’t been standardized across all institutions yet and there is, therefore, an urgent need to explore the impact of these practices on organizational citizenship behavior in the public sector in Mozambique.
