Research methods training at the Ministry of Economy and Finance

The Inclusive growth in Mozambique (IGM) programme organizes a one-day course on research methods on 5 September 2024, in Maputo, Mozambique. 

The course is designed for the technical staff at the National Directorate of Economic and Development Policies of the Ministry of Finance (DNPED-MEF), who are looking to strengthen their research and economic analysis skills. 

Participants will familiarize themselves with key elements of academic research—from the fundamentals to the more advanced techniques of data analysis, as well as research communication, with modules covering introduction to research methods and data analysis, elaboration of reports, and communicating results. 

The course is coordinated by the National Directorate of Economic and Development Policies of the Ministry of Finance (DNPED-MEF) and given by Finório Castigo, Specialist at the same Directorate.
