CEEG Call for Papers now open
The Center for Economic and Management Studies (CEEG) of the Faculty of Economics (FACECO), University of Eduardo Mondlane (UEM), has launched a Call for Papers. The objective of this ongoing call, organized with the support of the Inclusive growth in Mozambique (IGM) programme, is to promote research in the areas of Economics, Management, Accounting and Finance, and Actuarial Sciences and contribute to the Economic and Management Sciences section of the Scientific Journal of UEM.
The CEEG Call for Papers is destined for all Mozambican higher education and scientific research institutions and institutions that deal with economic and management sciences.
Applications to the CEEG Annual Call for Papers shall be made by submitting proposals containing an extended abstract or a draft article. Proposals must also include, at a minimum, the following information: title of the study; names and affiliations of all authors; email and telephone contact and telephone contacts; and the primary research question(s), methodology and data sources to be investigated. The main author's CV, with a list of (recent) publications, must also be provided.
Applicants are encouraged to focus on the following topics:
- Poverty, inequality, social mobility and gender relations;
- Dynamics in the private sector, labor market and job generation;
- Macroeconomic management and natural resources;
- Productivity and resilience of small farmers and responses to climate change;
- State institutions and capacity; and
- Good Governance.
The lead authors of the proposed studies approved for the Scientific Journal of UEM will be offered a remuneration in line with national norms.
