Seminar Series: Management of Fiscal Risk

Tjeerd Tim, a specialist in Economic Policy, Public Finance and Strategy, will present his study on ‘Management of Fiscal Risk’ on 17 September 2019 at the University of Eduardo Mondlane. The presentation will be in Portuguese.

The event is part of the seminar series, organized by the Inclusive Growth in Mozambique programme. The seminar series will run throughout the year, and it aims to build research capacity among Mozambican research partners. The seminars are public events open to everyone.

About the presenter

Tjeerd Tim is a Global Macro-fiscal and Public Finance Management Expert that has worked with many governments in Africa, and other parts of the Globe. He has advised on topics such as debt sustainability, macroeconomic policy, fiscal policy, and budgetary decision-making. He has worked with international institutions such as the IMF, European Commission, OECD, but also several universities and the Ministry of Finance in his home country, The Netherlands.
