Book launch: Mozambique at a Fork in the Road – The Institutional Diagnostic Project

On 7 November 2023, the Inclusive growth in Mozambique (IGM) programme organizes the launch of a Cambridge University Press (CUP) book entitled ‘Mozambique at a Fork in the Road: The Institutional Diagnostic Project’. The launch event will take place at 8:30-12:30 in Maputo, Mozambique, in a venue to be confirmed.

The event is structured around an overall introduction of the book and presentations of selected chapters by the editorial group, followed by an intervention by the key speaker and a Q&A session.

The CUP book is based on the Mozambique Institutional Diagnostic study, carried out between 2019 and 2020 within the scope of the EDI (Economic Development & Institutions) programme in partnership with the IGM programme. The study was launched on 12 June 2019 and resulted in the presentation of a draft report on 4 November 2020 in Maputo. The project now culminates with the publication of a book published by Cambridge University Press.

The launch event will be held in a hybrid format. The sessions will be broadcast live via Zoom and video recordings and photos of the in-person event will be used for publicity purposes after the event.

Please note that in-person participation will be by invitation only, virtual participation is open to all via Zoom.

The language used in the conference will be Portuguese.
