Basic STATA course

The Inclusive growth in Mozambique (IGM) programme organizes a five-day basic course on STATA between 5 and 9 June 2023.

The course aims to introduce University of Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) graduates from Economics, Statistics and Agrarian Economy to the main functions of STATA, a statistical software package used to analyse data patterns. By the end of the course, participants will know how to import data from Excel into STATA, use do-files to programme basic analysis, produce basic statistics (average, proportion), and produce simple tables and graphs from those statistics.

The training is coordinated by the Center for Economic and Management Studies (CEEG) of the University of Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) and given by Ricardo Santos, UNU-WIDER Research Fellow and Resident Advisor at CEEG, and Francesca Gioia, UCPH-DERG Resident Advisor at DNPED-MEF.
