Paola Ballon presents at a SIDA event on multidimensional poverty assessments
On 25 October UNU-WIDER research fellow from the Inclusive Growth in Mozambique project Paola Ballon gave a presentation in an event organized by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) in Maputo. The event focused on multi-dimensional poverty from local, national and global perspectives.
In her presentation Ballon introduced the latest findings on poverty in Mozambique, based on the fourth national poverty and well-being assessment. Ballon concluded that urban poverty has experienced greater reduction compared to rural poverty in both multidimensional and monetary poverty.
